Hello Dance Dimensions Families! We hope you’re all hanging in there and enjoying your summer. We wanted to give you a little update on our plans for the 2020-2021 dance season.
Our classes are going to follow a hybrid format this year. This means that classes will be split into two groups (pink and purple groups). The groups will alternate taking class in the studio and at home on zoom. For example, if the pink group comes into the studio on Week 1 then they would take class on zoom Week 2 and vice versa for the purple group. This change allows us to maintain social distancing. We measured the dance rooms and each room can hold 6 students and 2 teachers. Each student will get a six foot box, marked on the floor with tape, to dance in. All students will also have the option to take classes solely on Zoom, if that is what is right for their family.
Masks are going to be required for all in-studio classes. This is a measure we feel is necessary to protect our students and teachers. We recognize that this could pose a challenge, especially for our youngest students, and if your child can’t or won’t wear a mask, they are welcome to take class solely on zoom. Everyone in the building will be required to wear a mask.
The studio is going to be strictly drop-off and pick-up with no waiting room available. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to wait in their cars in the parking lot. Pick-up and drop-off procedures are forthcoming.
The schedule has been arranged to allow for cleaning between each class. As well as thoroughly at the end of the night. We will be sharing our cleaning procedures with you once they have been finalized.
